Ingredients:

• 4 – large Potatoes (boiled and mashed).
• 2 to 3 – Green chillies (chopped).
• 2 cups – gram flour.
• 2 tbsp – Coriander leaves (finely chopped).
• 1/6 tsp – Garam Masala powder.
• 1/6 tsp – Turmeric powder.
• Red Chilli powder to taste.
• oil.
• salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Add salt, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander leaves and green chillies to the mashed potato and mix well.
  2. Take the gram flour in a bowl, add turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder.
  3. Add a little water bit by bit, mixing the ingredients with hand to prepare the batter (neither too thick nor too loose).
  4. Make small balls of the potato mixture.
  5. Dip the balls in the batter and deep-fry until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with chutney.
