Ingredients:

• 2 cup – Rice
• 4 – hard boiled eggs
• 1 – onion, chopped finely
• 3 – green chillies, chopped finely
• 1 inch piece – Ginger
• 3 – Garlic flakes
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala
• 2 – Bay Leaves
• 1 – big Cardamom
• 3 – Cloves
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt as per taste
• 3.5 cup – water
• Chopped Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Make a paste of ginger and garlic.
  2. Wash the rice and soak for 30 mins
  3. Shell and halve the eggs, lengthwise
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry onions till golden brown
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste and simmer for 3 mins
  6. Add chopped chillies and simmer for a minute
  7. Add bay leaves, cloves and cardamoms along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala
  8. Now add the halved eggs
  9. Add rice, salt and water
  10. Cook till rice is cooked
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot
