
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – moong dhal
• 1 cup – Cucumber
• Green chillies chopped
• 1/2 – Onion
• 1 – Tomatoes
• Coriander leaves chopped
• oil for seasoning
• 1/2 tsp – Jeera
• 1/2 tsp – mustard
• salt to taste
• 1- Lime
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
Method:
- Pressure cook 1 cup dal.
- Cut cucumber into small long pieces and boil for a while.
- In a pan, add oil, jeera, mustard, green chillies.
- When it splutters, add sliced onion, tomatoes and fry well.
- Add to dal, sprinkle turmeric powder and salt to taste.
- Add lime juice, pinch of sugar and mix well.
- Serve with poori, roti, chapatti and rice.
