
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – wild Rice
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 3 cups – boiling water
• 3 cups – sliced fresh Mushrooms
• 1/2 cup – chopped Onions
• 1/4 cup – Butter or margarine
• 1 cup – grated old cheddar
• 1 – large can stewed Tomatoes (diced), juice included
• 1 tsp – salt
Method:
- Cook rice, in salted water until nearly tender and drain rice if necessary.
- Saute mushrooms and onion in butter for about 5 minutes.
- Toss rice with all ingredients.
- Place in casserole dish, cover and bake for 1/2 an hour at 350 degree Fahrenheit.
