
Ingredients:
• 8 – bread slices
• 1/2 cup – carrot, peeled and grated
• 1/2 cup – beetroot, peeled and grated
• For Green peas spread:
• 1 cup – cooked Green peas
• 2 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 2 tbsp – chopped Spring onions
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – minced Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 1 tbsp – chopped Mint leaves
• 2 to 3 tbsp – low fat yogurt or cheese
• pepper to taste
• salt to taste
Method:
- Mash the peas and mix with rest of the ingredients.
- Spread the bread slices along with the peas mixture.
- Sandwich two slices with grated carrot and beet root.
- Make four sandwiches and cut each into two parts.
