Ingredients:

• 1 packet – puri
• 1 cup – Curd
• 1 cup – date-tamarind chutney
• 1 cup – green chutney
• 1 cup – sev
• 1 – finely chopped Onion
• 1 cup – grated Carrot
• 1 cup – boiled smashed Potatoes
• 1 cup – Coriander leaves
• For green chutney:
• 1 cup – chopped Mint leaves
• 1/2 cup chopped coriander
• 1/2 onion, sliced
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – Sugar
• 3 – Green chillies
• Salt
• For date-tamarind chutney:
• 1 cup date
• 1/4 cup – Tamarind pulp
• 1/4 cup Sugar
• Red Chilli powder – to taste

Method:

  1. For date-tamarind chutney:
  2. Soak tamarind and date for some time.
  3. Grind finely with sugar, salt and chilli powder. Keep aside.
  4. For green chutney:
  5. Grind all the ingredients. Keep aside.
  6. For dahi puri:
  7. Make a hole in each puri.
  8. Fill it up with smashed potatoes, grated carrots, finely chopped onions.
  9. Over this, add the sev and pour the dahi.
  10. Over this, pour the date-tamarind and green chutney. Garnish with chopped coriander and sev.
  11. Serve and eat immediately.
