
Ingredients:
• 8 – bread slices
• Butter – 2 tsp
• 1 – onion, big, chopped
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• 1/2 cup – carrots, grated
• 1/4 cup – capsicum, chopped
• 1/4 cup – cabbage, chopped
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tsp – green chillies, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil for shallow frying
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, fry the green chillies, chopped onions, saute until the onions turn translucent.
- Add the grated carrot, chopped cabbage, chopped capsicum and chopped tomatoes, salt and garam masala powder.
- Saute for a few mins, and simmer. Add the red chilli powder, cook for a while.
- Add the chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove
- Melt the butter in a pan, toast the bread slices one by one, now gently spread the prepared vegetable masala over a toasted bread slices and sandwich the masala with another toasted slice and serve.
