Ingredients:

• 8 – bread slices
• Butter – 2 tsp
• 1 – onion, big, chopped
• 1 – tomato, chopped
• 1/2 cup – carrots, grated
• 1/4 cup – capsicum, chopped
• 1/4 cup – cabbage, chopped
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 2 tsp – green chillies, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil for shallow frying

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, fry the green chillies, chopped onions, saute until the onions turn translucent.
  2. Add the grated carrot, chopped cabbage, chopped capsicum and chopped tomatoes, salt and garam masala powder.
  3. Saute for a few mins, and simmer. Add the red chilli powder, cook for a while.
  4. Add the chopped coriander leaves and turn off the stove
  5. Melt the butter in a pan, toast the bread slices one by one, now gently spread the prepared vegetable masala over a toasted bread slices and sandwich the masala with another toasted slice and serve.
