Ingredients:

• 8 slices- bread
• 4 tbsp – Butter
• 4 sausages
• 1/2 cup – water
• 2 tbsp – chopped Onions

Method:

  1. Wash the sausages lightly taking care to break them.
  2. Prick with a fork in a few places.
  3. Place the sausages carefully in a pan and boil them with 1/2 cup of water.
  4. Keep boiling till all the water evaporates and only the fat remains.
  5. Lower the heat and keep frying till the sausages are brown all over.
  6. Smash the sausages lightly.
  7. Spread butter on one side of all the slices of bread.
  8. Place the fried, mashed sausages on 4 slices and sprinkle chopped onions on top.
  9. Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
  10. Cut away the crusts.
  11. Slice lengthwise.
