
Ingredients:
• 8 slices- bread
• 4 tbsp – Butter
• 4 sausages
• 1/2 cup – water
• 2 tbsp – chopped Onions
Method:
- Wash the sausages lightly taking care to break them.
- Prick with a fork in a few places.
- Place the sausages carefully in a pan and boil them with 1/2 cup of water.
- Keep boiling till all the water evaporates and only the fat remains.
- Lower the heat and keep frying till the sausages are brown all over.
- Smash the sausages lightly.
- Spread butter on one side of all the slices of bread.
- Place the fried, mashed sausages on 4 slices and sprinkle chopped onions on top.
- Cover with the remaining slices of bread.
- Cut away the crusts.
- Slice lengthwise.
