Ingredients:
• 2 cups – basmati rice, cooked
• 1 – tinned Red kidney beans
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1/4 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 – bay leaves, Cloves
• 1 inch – Cinnamon stick
• 5 – Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• Oil as required
Method:
- Strain the tinned red kidney beans and keep it aside.
- Heat oil and fry bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick.
- Add chopped onion pieces, chopped tomato pieces and cook until the onion turns translucent and tomatoes turns mushy.
- Immediately add the red kidney beans along with red chilli powder, garam masala powder, jeera powder, pepper powder , curry leaves and salt and simmer till the oil separates.
- Now add the cooked basmati rice to this, toss gently until everything get mixed well.
- Serve hot.
