Ingredients:
• 8 – sheep kidneys cut into halves or 1 Beef kidney cut into bits
• 2 – medium Onions chopped
• 2 – Green chillies slit longwise
• 1 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 1 tsp – peppercorns
• 2 – Potatoes peeled and cut into thin strips
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – oil
Method:
- Wash the kidneys and remove the white skin.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the kidneys along with all the other ingredients in the raw state.
- Mix well and stir fry for a few minutes.
- Add 1 cup of water and simmer till the kidneys and potatoes are cooked.
- Add a tbsp of flour and thicken the stew.
- Serve hot with Bread.
