Ingredients:

• 5 – bread slices
• 1/2 cup – chickpeas/besan flour
• 1/4 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – Yoghurt
• Water as required
• 3 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix besan flour, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, salt and yoghurt.
  2. Add water gradually and mix it into a thin (not too runny) paste.
  3. Cut the bread slices diagonally.
  4. Heat enough oil in a tawa, dip the bread slices into the prepared paste and drop gently into the hot oil. Fry on both sides until they turn golden brown.
