
Ingredients:
• 3 – spring onions, finely chopped
• 3 tbsp – Butter
• 1 pkt – frozen spinach, chopped
• 1 pkt – frozen Broccoli spears, slightly softened
• 2 cans – Chicken broth
• 3 tbsp – all-purpose flour
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
• 1/2 cup – Half and Half
• 3 tbsp – Lemon Juice, optional
Method:
- Take a saucepan and heat butter in it.
- Add spring onions and cook until they turn soft.
- Add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper to it and mix well.
- Now, put chopped spinach, chicken broth and broccoli spears in it and mix well again.
- Cover and cook on low flame for 5 to 8 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
- Add half and half and cook for 4 more minutes.
- You can make it a little tangier by adding lemon juice.
- Your soup is ready to be served.
