Ingredients:

• 3 – spring onions, finely chopped
• 3 tbsp – Butter
• 1 pkt – frozen spinach, chopped
• 1 pkt – frozen Broccoli spears, slightly softened
• 2 cans – Chicken broth
• 3 tbsp – all-purpose flour
• Salt, to taste
• Pepper, to taste
• 1/2 cup – Half and Half
• 3 tbsp – Lemon Juice, optional

Method:

  1. Take a saucepan and heat butter in it.
  2. Add spring onions and cook until they turn soft.
  3. Add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper to it and mix well.
  4. Now, put chopped spinach, chicken broth and broccoli spears in it and mix well again.
  5. Cover and cook on low flame for 5 to 8 minutes or till the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add half and half and cook for 4 more minutes.
  7. You can make it a little tangier by adding lemon juice.
  8. Your soup is ready to be served.
