Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Broccoli florets
• Green chillies – 6 to 8, slit
• Onion (medium size) – 1 or 2
• Coconut or Olive oil
• Coconut Milk – 1/2 cup
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Including a little bit of the stem, cut broccoli into big pieces.
  2. Cut onions into even bigger pieces. Slit green chillies.
  3. Heat oil and fry onions and green chillies a bit.
  4. The onions should not turn brown, but the raw smell has to go away.
  5. Add broccoli. Do not mash it.
  6. Keep the flame low to boil the broccoli slowly.
  7. Sprinkle some water, if necessary.
  8. Pour coconut milk, add salt and let it boil, but not for too long. Serve hot.
