Ingredients:

• 500 g – Raw Mango
• 100 g – Mustard oil
• 1 tsp – Asafoetida
• 50 g – Mustard Seeds
• 25 g – dal
• Dry Ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
• Salt as per taste
• 100 g – Garlic Cloves
• 50 g – Red Chilli powder

Method:

  1. Marinate the mango pieces with salt and turmeric overnight.
  2. Remove any water and dry them in the sun.
  3. Deep fry the garlic cloves.
  4. Heat the mustard oil till it smokes, then cool it.
  5. When mango pieces are completely dry, mix them with all the spices, garlic cloves and oil.
  6. Store in a jar.
