
Ingredients:
• Mustard Seeds – 2 tsp
• Asafetida powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Oil – 45 ml
• Ginger – 100 gm, peeled and chopped
• Green chillies – 20 gm, thinly sliced
• Salt – 20 gm
• Lime juice – 45 ml
Method:
- Powder mustard seeds and mix with asafoetida and turmeric powder.
- Heat the oil and add ginger and chillies.
- After few seconds add all the powders and mix well and remove from fire.
- Add salt. When the mixture cools, stir in the lime juice.
- Leave to mature for 24 hours at room temperature.
- Then transfer to clean jar and store in refrigerator.
