
Ingredients:
• 2 green bananas/plantains
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• salt to taste
• oil for frying
Method:
- Peel and cut the green bananas into thin slices.
- Soak in salt water for about 10 minutes.
- Drain away the water and mix the banana slices with the chilli powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder and salt.
- Heat oil in a deep pan till smoky.
- Deep fry few of the banana slices at a time till they are golden brown.
- Serve as a side dish with rice and any curry or as a snack.
