Ingredients:
• Puff Pastry Sheet – 2
• Hazelnut Spread – 3 – 4 tbsp
• Chopped Hazelnuts – 50 grams
• Orange Marmalade – 5 tbsp
• Golden Raisins – 50 grams
• Butter – for greasing
• Brown sugar – as required
Method:
- Dust the table top with flour.
- Roll out 1 puff sheet, apply the hazelnut spread evenly all across it.
- Sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
- Roll from both ends to the center of the sheet. Apply little water at the edges to help it stick.
- Take this sheet back to the chiller and rest for about 15 minutes. This helps the temperature to drop and solidify the butter (especially in hot and humid conditions).
- Slice into 1 inch pieces.
- Repeat the process with orange marmalade and golden raisins.
- Spread it on a baking tray with enough spaces between each slice to rise and expand.
- Bake it in a pre-heated oven of 4500F and bake for around 20 minutes.
