
Ingredients:
• 2 cup – raw banana, sliced
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 1/2 tsp each – Mustard Seeds + Urad Dal
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• A few – Curry leaves
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Cook the plantain pieces with turmeric powder and water, until they turn soft, strain the water and keep aside
- Heat enough oil, splutter the mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped onions, fry until they turn translucent.
- Add the cooked plantain pieces, red chilli powder, salt and simmer till the vegetables get well coated with the spices
- Serve.
