
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp – Peanuts
• 1 – big onion, chopped
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves or a mix of Mint and coriander
• 1/2 tsp – thick Tamarind paste
• 1/2 tsp – chopped Ginger
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp -cumin seed powder
• 1/2 tsp – thick jaggery, optional
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• For seasoning:
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 pinch – Hing
• 2 pinches – Turmeric powder
Method:
- Transfer all the ingredients into a small mixer bowl and grind to a smooth paste with very little water.
- For seasoning:
- Heat oil and add mustard seeds, when they crackle, add hing and turmeric powder.
- Pour this seasoning over ground paste and mix well.
