Ingredients:

• 4 cups – puffed Rice (murmure)
• 1/2 tsp – oil
• 1/5 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2-3 pinches Asafoetida powder
• 2 green chillies, chopped
• 1 stalk Curry leaves
• Salt to taste
• 1 pinch citric acid powdered

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, large enough to contain murmure.
  2. Add chillies, curry leaves, turmeric, asafoetida, and stir.
  3. Add murmure, sprinkle citric acid and stir well.
  4. Take off fire, if required, to avoid burning at the bottom.
  5. Toss very well till flavours blend and murmure cools.
  6. Cool completely before storing in airtight container.
  7. Serve as an anytime snack, or even as munchies in transit.
