
Ingredients:
• Suji – 2 cups
• Ghee – 2-3 cups
• Raisin – 1/4 cup
• Cashewnut – 1/4 cup
• Elaichi/Cardamom (green) – 4, powdered
• Sugar – 2 cups
• Banana – 1, mashed
• Saffron – a pinch
• Milk – as needed
Method:
- Mash the banana, mix saffron to it and leave aside.
- Roast the cashewnuts and raisins in ghee in a thick bottom pan.
- Add suji and sugar and mix thoroughly.
- Add a little milk to get the right consistency.
- Cook on low flame, making sure the suji does not stick to the sides of the pan.
- When the suji is well cooked, add the banana-saffron mixture and powdered cardamom and mix well.
- Serve hot or cold.
