
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp – Corn flour
• 1 tsp – Maida
• 1 – Egg
• 1/2 tsp – Ajinomoto
• 250 g – Mushroom
• 1 pinch – red colour
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying
• For gravy:
• 1 medium – Onion
• 6-8 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – red chili powder
• 1 tsp – Garlic
• 2 tsp – Yoghurt
• Salt to taste
• Curry leaves
• Spring onion, for garnishing
• 2 tsp – oil
Method:
- Wash, dry and cut the mushroom into pieces.
- Mix corn flour, maida, salt, red food colour, pepper, egg and ajinomoto to make a thick batter.
- Dip the mushroom in the batter; deep fry in oil.
- For gravy:
- Heat oil in another pan, add garlic, curry leaves, slit green chillies and onion.
- Saute for a while.
- Mix the yoghurt, chilli powder, salt, and ajinomoto one after the other.
- Add fried mushroom and stir to coat the mushroom in the gravy.
- Garnish with spring onion.
