Ingredients:

• 1 medium – Cauliflower
• For marinade:
• 1 – Egg
• 4 tbsp – Maida
• 1 tbsp – cornflour
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Salt
• For gravy:
• 1 tsp each – ginger-garlic, julienned
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 – capsicum, chopped
• 1 tsp – chilli sauce
• 2 tsp – soya sauce
• 1 or 2 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• 2 tbsp – Corn starch
• Oil

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients for the marinade into a fine paste.
  2. Marinate cauliflower in this paste for 1 hour.
  3. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
  4. For gravy:
  5. Heat oil in the kadai. Saute ginger and garlic till fragrant.
  6. Add green chilli, onion, capsicum and saute.
  7. Add the salt, sauces, corn starch and fried cauliflower.
  8. Give a good toss and serve hot.
