Ingredients:
• 1 medium – Cauliflower
• For marinade:
• 1 – Egg
• 4 tbsp – Maida
• 1 tbsp – cornflour
• 1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder
• Salt
• For gravy:
• 1 tsp each – ginger-garlic, julienned
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 – capsicum, chopped
• 1 tsp – chilli sauce
• 2 tsp – soya sauce
• 1 or 2 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• 2 tbsp – Corn starch
• Oil
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients for the marinade into a fine paste.
- Marinate cauliflower in this paste for 1 hour.
- Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
- For gravy:
- Heat oil in the kadai. Saute ginger and garlic till fragrant.
- Add green chilli, onion, capsicum and saute.
- Add the salt, sauces, corn starch and fried cauliflower.
- Give a good toss and serve hot.
