
Ingredients:
• Tofu – 200 gm, cut into very small cubes (1/4 cm)
• grated Coconut – 4 tbsp, ground to smooth paste
• Fenugreek leaves (methi bhaji) – 3 cup, chopped
• oil – 4 tbsp
• cloves, Cardamom 2 each
• Cinnamon 2 cm piece
• Onion – 1 cup, minced
• Ginger – 2 tsp, minced
• green chilies – 1 tsp, minced
• chilli powder – 1 tsp
• coriander powder – 1 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• curds – 1/4 cup
• Lime juice
• salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai, add cloves, cinnamon and cardamom.
- After 1 minute, add onion, ginger, green chilies and fry trill onions are brown.
- Add all the powders and fenugreek leaves.
- Fry very well, adding a tbsp of curds in between.
- Add coconut paste and fry for a few minutes.
- Add tofu and salt. Keep covered on a low flame for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with rotis or chapattis.
