Ingredients:

• Channa flour (Besan) – 2 Cups
• Rice flour – 2 tbsp
• Corn flour – 1 tbsp
• Green chillies – 4 to 8 (according to your taste)
• Ginger – 2 tsp
• Garlic – 1 tsp (Optional)
• Baking soda – 1/2 tsp (Optional)
• Onion – 2, medium size
• Cashew nuts – 10 to 15
• Ghee – 1 tbsp
• Salt – 2 tsp (according to your taste)
• Oil to deep fry
• Coriander leaves – a few
• Curry leaves – a few

Method:

  1. Cut onion lengthwise. Cut ginger, garlic, coriander, curry leaves, green chillies, and cashew nuts into small pieces.
  2. Mix all of the ingredients together; don’t add water.
  3. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  4. Heat oil. Make small irregular balls using the dough and put this into the oil.
  5. Deep-fry till golden brown.
  6. Take the pakora from the oil and put this into a bowl with tissue paper. The tissue paper will absorb the excess oil if any.
