Ingredients:
• 600 gms – boneless mutton, cubed
• 3 tbsp – soya sauce
• 1.5 tsp – Honey
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli paste
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• For satay sauce:
• 2 onions, peeled, grated
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1.5 cups – peanuts, roasted, powdered
• 1/2 cup – Vinegar
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 2 tbsp – jam
• Oil as needed
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix all ingredients (except sauce) with meat and set aside for 4 hours.
- Skewer meat pieces on bamboo sticks or skewers and grill until tender.
- To make sauce:
- Heat 3 tbsp oil. fry onions, garlic and ginger. Add all other ingredients and cook till blended, adding half to 1 cup of water as needed. Serve the kebabs hot withs sauce and onion rings.
