
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – sooji or semolina
• 1 cup – Wheat flour
• salt
• 5 tsps – oil
• whole black pepper Corns
• oil for frying
Method:
- Combine all ingredients except the oil for frying and knead into a stiff dough.
- Make small balls out of the dough and roll into small round pooris.
- Now, before frying, pierce each mathri with a fork several times. This is so that it does not fluff up when fried.
- Heat oil for frying and fry each mathri. Enjoy with pickle.
