
Ingredients:
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1/2 tsp mustard
• 1/2 tsp chilli powder
• 100 gm small Onion
• 1/2 tsp Methi seeds
• 2 Red Chillies
• 1 tbsp Garlic paste
• 1 tbsp coriander powder
• 1 tbsp fish curry powder
• 1/2 Lemon size Tamarind
• 1 small Tomato
• 1 Raw banana chopped
• 1 sprig Curry leaves
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds.
- When they splutter, add curry leaves, methi seeds and red chillies; stir for 1 minute.
- Add chopped small onion and garlic paste.
- Stir on a low flame and then add chopped tomato.
- Add the remaining spices and stir well.
- Finally, add the chopped raw banana, tamarind pulp, and salt.
- Cover and cook till it is done.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with dosas, idlis and rice.
