
Ingredients:
• 1 litre – Milk
• 30 g – good quality Rice
• 1 tsp – cardamoms, powdered
• 100 g – Sugar
• 25 g – Raisins
• 25 g – almonds, chopped
• 25 g – Pistachios nuts, chopped
• A pinch – Camphor
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
Method:
- Wash the rice, drain and fry in ghee, to a light golden colour.
- Bring the milk to a boil and put in the rice.
- When the rice is cooked, add sugar, nuts, raisins and keep on stirring till the payesh turns thick.
- Remove from fire and sprinkle cardamom powder, camphor on top.
