Ingredients:

• 2 tsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 1/2 cup – tender Cashew nuts
• 2 – potatoes, cut into thin slices
• 2 – green chillies, slit lengthwise
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 75 ml – water

Method:

  1. Wash tender cashew nuts and drain out the water thoroughly. Cut potatoes into thin slices.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds to it. When they crackle, add jeera. Fry on low heat for 1 minute.
  3. Add tender cashew nuts, potato slices, slit green chillies, salt and 75 ml water to it. Mix all the ingredients well.
  4. Cover it with a tight lid and cook on medium to low heat for 15 – 20 minutes or until the water dries up.
  5. Serve it hot with rice.
