
Ingredients:
• Fish fillet (pomfret or seer) – 1/2 kg
• Rice (raw) – 1/2 cup
• Ginger – 20g
• Garlic – 20g
• Red Chilli powder – 3 tsp
• Cumin powder (roasted) – 2 tsp
• Pepper – 1/2 tsp
• Lemon juice – 3 tbsp
• Green chilli – 2
• A pinch of chaat masala
• Fresh Mint leaves for garnishing
• Salt to taste
• A few drops of Orange colour
Method:
- Soak the rice for an hour, dry on paper, and grind it.
- Prepare a paste of ginger, garlic, red chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper, green chillies, orange colour, and salt.
- Add the powdered rice and a little water to this paste and prepare a thick marinade.
- Cut the fish into pieces. Apply lemon juice and keep aside for half an hour.
- Then dip the fish pieces into the marinade and keep aside for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish pieces.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and Chaat masala.
