Ingredients:

• 2.5 cups – crushed cornflakes
• 1/3 cup – chopped dark chocolate
• 4 – Egg whites
• 1.5 cups – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Milk
• 3 tbsp – flour
• 3 tbsp – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence

Method:

  1. In a heavy saucepan, combine egg whites, sugar and salt.
  2. Heat over medium flame, stirring continuously until it is just warm to touch.
  3. Add the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, milk and cornflakes.
  4. Continue stirring for 4 minutes or till gently sizzling.
  5. Remove from heat, add the chocolate and mix well till the entire chocolate is melted and blended.
  6. Using a spoon or scoop place balls on parchment paper spaced 1 inch apart.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes or till they set and turn crisp around the edges.
  8. Let it cool completely.
