Ingredients:
• 2.5 cups – crushed cornflakes
• 1/3 cup – chopped dark chocolate
• 4 – Egg whites
• 1.5 cups – Sugar
• 1/4 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Milk
• 3 tbsp – flour
• 3 tbsp – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence
Method:
- In a heavy saucepan, combine egg whites, sugar and salt.
- Heat over medium flame, stirring continuously until it is just warm to touch.
- Add the flour, cocoa powder, vanilla, milk and cornflakes.
- Continue stirring for 4 minutes or till gently sizzling.
- Remove from heat, add the chocolate and mix well till the entire chocolate is melted and blended.
- Using a spoon or scoop place balls on parchment paper spaced 1 inch apart.
- Bake for 15 minutes or till they set and turn crisp around the edges.
- Let it cool completely.
