
Ingredients:
• Fish – 4 pieces
• Boiled Potato – 1 large
• Kokum – 4-5 pieces
• Coriander – 1 bunch
• Green chillies – 2
• Methi seed – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric – 1 tsp
• Salt – to taste
• Oil – 3 tbsp
Method:
- Soak the kokum in 1 cup of water for 30 mins.
- At the same time, marinate the fish with salt and turmeric for 10 mins. Then deep-fry the fish in the oil.
- In the same oil, put the meethi seeds and allow to splutter.
- Mash the potato and add to the oil. Fry for 2 mins with turmeric.
- Pour the kokum water along with the kokum.
- Pour another 1/2 cup of water and salt. Let it simmer.
- Now add the fish pieces.
- Simmer for 5 mins so that all the ingredients blend together.
- Sprinkle with coriander and chilli pieces. It goes well with plain rice.
