
Ingredients:
• 1 cup – grated Ivy gourd
• 1/2 cup – gram flour
• 1/4 cup – Rice flour
• 1 – onion, big and chopped finely
• 1tsp – fennel seeds, crushed
• 1 tsp – ginger, grated
• Salt
• A few – Curry leaves
• Oil for deep-frying
Method:
- Mix well the grated ivy gourd, rice flour, gram flour, chopped onions, crushed fennel seeds, grated ginger and salt in a bowl.
- Add water if needed to turn into a thick batter.
- Meanwhile heat oil on medium flame, take a small ball from the prepared vada batter, flatten them and drop gently to the hot oil.
- Cook the vadas in medium flame until the they turn golden brown.
- Serve it.
