Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Buckwheat flour / kuttu atta/ rajgiri atta
• 1/4 cup – Water Chestnut flour/ singhara atta
• 1 tsp – green cardamom, crushed
• 1.5 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – clarified Butter /desi Ghee
• 1/4 cup – chopped Pistachios
• 4 cups – water

Method:

  1. Sieve both flour together.
  2. Heat clarified butter in a wok, add sieved flour .
  3. Roast it on low heat with continuous stirring till color changes to dark brown.
  4. Add crushed cardamoms and stir it.
  5. Add sugar and mix well.
  6. Now add water and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes till the water evaporates.
  7. Remove it from heat and add chopped pistachios.
  8. Serve chilled.
