
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – boiled basmati Rice
• 3 – tomatoes, chopped
• 2 tsp – Green peas
• 2 tsp – French beans, chopped
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 – green chillies, silted
• 12 to 15 – Garlic cloves, crushed
• 1 inch – ginger, crushed
• 1 tsp – fennel seed, crushed
• 2 pieces – Cinnamon
• 3 or 4 – Cloves
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• 2 tsp – veg oil
• 1 or 2 – Bay Leaf
• salt as per taste
Method:
- Heat oil add crushed garlic and ginger, bay leaf, fennel seed, cinnamon, cloves, fry for 2 min. To this add green chillies, peas, French beans, tomatoes, salt, turmeric, chilli powder. Mix well and cook with closed lid till the veg are soft.
- Add garam masala powder to the gravy. Mix well.
- Now add boiled rice and mix well till the rice absorbs all the gravy.
- Tomato garlic rice is ready.
- Garnish it with chopped onions and coriander leaves before serving.
