Ingredients:

• Roasted ground nuts – 1/2 cup
• Dry red chillies, de-seeded – 5 to 6
• Garlic – 6 flakes
• Tamarind ball, size of half a Lemon
• Oil – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add dry chillies and fry till fragrant. Drain and reserve.
  2. In the same pan, saute garlic flakes till light brown.
  3. Cool and grind with roasted peanuts, tamarind and salt.
  4. Serve with idli or dosa.
