Ingredients:

• 5 to 6 slices of bread, cut into 1/2 inch squares
• 3 medium-sized onions, chopped finely
• 5 tomatoes, chopped finely
• 5-6 Curry leaves
• 1 tsp each of Jeera and Saunf
• 1 tsp each of coriander powder, cumin powder and pav-bhaji masala.
• 1 tbsp chilli powder
• A pinch of Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbps oil
• 2 tbps Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add jeera, saunf, turmeric powder and onions and fry till onions turn pink.
  2. Add tomatoes, fry for a minute and then add the dry masalas.
  3. Stir on a low fire until the masala cooks.
  4. Add the bread pieces and mix thoroughly till the masala coats the bread.
  5. Add salt and keep on a low fire for a minute or two.
  6. Serve hot.
