Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Rice (raw)
• 2 cups – Curd
• 3 to 4 Green chillies
• 1 piece Ginger
• 1 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1 tsp – Channa dal
• 8 to 10 Curry leaves
• some finely chopped Coriander leaves
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cook the rice with salt to taste and keep aside.
  2. Add finely chopped greed chillies, ginger, and salt to the curd.
  3. Add the curd to the rice and mix gently.
  4. Heat ghee in a ladle, add mustard seeds, and when the seeds splutter, add urad dal, channa dal, and curry leaves.
  5. Fry on a low flame till the dals turn a little golden.
  6. Pour this tempering on the rice and gently mix.
  7. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
