
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – basmati Rice
• 1 cup – shell fish
• 1 – onion, chopped finely
• 1 – tomato, chopped finely
• 3 – green chillies, grounded
• 4 – Kashmiri Red Chillies
• 3 – Bay Leaves
• 3 – Cloves
• 1 inch – Cinnamon
• 4 -cardamoms
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Wash and soak rice for half an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan and saute cloves, cardamoms, bay leaves, cinnamon and Kashmiri chillies.
- Add green chilli paste and stir for a minute.
- Fry onions till golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add shell fish and fry for 5 minutes.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and saute for 10 minutes.
- Add rice and 2.5 cups of water and cover the pan.
- Cook till rice is done.
- Serve hot.
