Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Kaju powder (cashew nut)
• 1/2 cup – powdered Sugar
• 1/8 tsp – Cardamom powder
• Few strands of Saffron
• 2 tbsp – Milk

Method:

  1. Add saffron paste to the milk.
  2. Keep aside.
  3. Mix kaju powder, powdered sugar and cardamom powder.
  4. Prepare semi-soft dough with the help of saffron milk.
  5. Prepare small balls of 20-25 g each.
  6. Place a plastic bangle of 3 mm thickness on a butter paper.
  7. Flatten each ball to fill in the bangle.
  8. Sprinkle almond and pistachio slice.
  9. Pre-heat the top grill to 250 degrees C.
  10. Place the plate with kaju puris about 5 inches below the heated grill.
  11. When the upper side is baked remove the plate from below the grill.
  12. Cool a little, turn them over and place back in grill till done.
  13. Remove, cool and serve.
