Ingredients:
• 400 gms – boneless Chicken breasts, skinned and cut into pieces
• 2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 4 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 inch piece ginger, finely chopped
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Cinnamon powder
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1 cup – onion, chopped
• 2 Cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup – Curd (dahi)
• 3/4 cup – Tomato paste
• 5 cups – potatoes, cut into cubes
• 4 cups – water
• 2/3 cup – chopped Tomato
Method:
- Heat oil, and then saute the onion, ginger and garlic for a few minutes.
- Add all the dry spices, and fry some more.
- Add chicken and let it cook for about 10 minutes or so. Keep stirring.
- Whisk the curd and tomato paste in a bowl.
- Add the mixture to the chicken, and then add the potatoes and water.
- Bring to a boil and cover.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15 mins.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve with steamed rice.
