
Ingredients:
• 1/4 kg – Cabbage
• 1/2 cup – Bengal Gram dal
• 1 (small) – Onion
• 1 (Large) – Tomato
• small quantity – Ginger
• 2 . – Garlic
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1 tbsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• a pinch – Asafoetida
• 2 tbsp – grated/shredded Coconut
Method:
- Cut cabbage, wash Bengal gram dal and put both together in a pressure cooker along with all the ingredients like chopped onion, tomatoes, green chilly, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and asafoetida.
- Mix all the contents well and pour required water.
- Boil it for some 20 minutes.
- Now add grated coconut and mix them well.
