
Ingredients:
• 2 cups – mixed berries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, Blackberries
• 1/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tbsp – cornstarch
• For Ice cream:
• 2.5 cups – fresh cream, chilled
• 1 cup – milk, chilled
• 1/2 cup – mixed berries sauce
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
Method:
- Mixed Berries Sauce:
- Cook the berries, sugar and lemon juice in medium heat.
- Mash the berries and stir occasionally, once the berries are soft and juice oozes out, add the cornstarch and stir quickly.
- In high flame cook for few minutes until the sauce reach the desire thickness.
- Cool it completely and store in the refrigerator for a week.
- For Ice cream:
- In a bowl whisk together the milk and sugar until the sugar dissolves.
- In a large bowl, take enough ice cubes, now place the milk mixture bowl inside, pour the fresh cream and beat it with a beater until it becomes thick.
- Now add the mixed berries sauce to the thickened mixture and beat again for a while.
- Transfer this smooth mixture to an air tightened box and freeze for maximum of three hours.
