Ingredients:

• 2 ½ cups Corn kernels
• 1 cup shelled Green peas
• 6 big Tomatoes
• 2 big Onions
• 2 cm piece Ginger
• 3 Cloves Garlic
• ¼ tsp. Turmeric powder
• ½ tsp. Garam Masala powder
• 2 tsp. chilli powder
• 1 ½ tbsp. Poppy Seeds
• ½ cup curds
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp. oil
• To garnish:
• Red Radish

Method:

  1. Blanch tomatoes, extract puree and keep aside. Chop onions. Beat the curds.
  2. Grind together ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and chilli powder. Grind poppy seeds separately.
  3. Heat oil. Add chopped onions and sauté. Add ground masala. Add corn and peas.
  4. Add salt and water. Cook till corn and peas are tender. Add ground poppy seeds and beaten curds.
  5. Mix well. Simmer for 2 minutes. Garnish and serve hot.
