Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – Corn flour
• 1 litre – Milk
• 2 tsp – vanilla essence
• 1 cup – fresh strawberries purred

Method:

  1. Mix the corn flour, vanilla essence and salt in a little water.
  2. Boil the milk and sugar.
  3. When boiling mix in the corn flour paste.
  4. Cook till the mixture thickens stirring all the time.
  5. Add the strawberry puree and mix well.
  6. Simmer for a few more minutes.
  7. Pour into dampened jelly moulds and set in refrigerator.
  8. When required dip the bottom of the mould in hot water, then turn out on a plate.
  9. Top with fresh cut strawberries and cream and serve.
