Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp – oil
• 2 tsp – chopped Garlic
• 2 – onions, chopped
• 1 tsp – chopped Ginger
• 1 tsp – garam masala/spice powder
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 – large tomato, chopped
• 1 cup – Chickpeas (Kabuli channa) soaked overnight and boiled
• 1 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add the garlic, onion and ginger. Saute until brown.
  2. Stir in the garam masala, chilli powder, coriander powder, tomato, salt and chickpeas.
  3. Simmer on low heat until the gravy thickens.
  4. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
