Ingredients:
• 150 g – Walnuts
• 3 – eggs
• 250 g – Bread
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1.5 cup – Milk
• 100 g – Butter
• Breadcrumbs
Method:
- Soak bread in milk. Grind walnuts into paste.
- Beat egg yolks with sugar and add walnut paste and bread soaked in milk, together with melted butter. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Whisk egg whites, fold them into the mixture.
- Butter a baking dish and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs, then pour in the mixture and bake in a moderate oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serve hot.
