
Ingredients:
• 1 loaf – Bread
• 1 liter – Milk
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – rose water
• A few strands Saffron
• 8 – 9 pieces – cashew nuts, chopped
• 50 g – Raisins
• 8 – 9 pieces – almonds, chopped
• 3/4 cup – Ghee
Method:
- In a thick-bottomed pan, boil the milk till it is slightly thick.
- Crumble the bread and mix it with milk, stirring continuously.
- Add sugar, ghee, saffron and rose water and keep stirring continuously till the whole mixture turns thick, slightly brown and comes out smoothly from the pan.
- Add the chopped nuts and raisins and remove from the flame.
- Serve hot or cold.
