Ingredients:
• 1 – big Chow chow
• 3 tbsp – tur dal
• 10 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 tbsp – Coconut (grated)
• 5 – Cashew nuts
• 2 tsp – Rice flour
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – Urad Dal
• Turmeric powder, a pinch
• Asafoetida, a pinch
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Grind coconut, cashew nuts and rice flour and keep it aside.
- Now cook tur dal and chow chow in a pressure pan.
- When done, add the ground mixture, salt and turmeric powder to it.
- Now season with urad dal and red chillies.
- Finally, add enough water and let it boil for a while.
- Keep stirring as it boils.
- Serve hot with steamed rice and mango pickle.
